Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled carpenter with exceptional problem-solving abilities to join a fast-paced modular building manufacturer. This role is ideal for a master craftsperson who thrives under tight production timelines, can diagnose and solve construction challenges, and takes pride in delivering high-quality work that meets demanding quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced framing, finish carpentry, installation, and assembly within a modular manufacturing environment. • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings. • Troubleshoot design, fit, finish, and production issues in real time. • Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and field teams. • Maintain productivity while meeting aggressive production schedules. • Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and code requirements. • Mentor junior carpenters and support continuous improvement efforts.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional carpentry experience. • Demonstrated expertise in framing, finish carpentry, layout, and installation. • Strong blueprint-reading and measurement skills. • Proven ability to solve complex construction and manufacturing challenges. • Experience working independently with minimal supervision. • High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. • Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.

• A team-player with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Modular, manufactured housing, commercial construction, millwork, cabinetmaking, or advanced woodworking experience. • Leadership or crew lead experience. • OSHA training or relevant certifications.
