Role and Responsibilities Senior HR Business Partner to support the commercial organization, partnering with SVPs, VPs, and Directors. Act as a trusted advisor on day‑to‑day people matters and long‑term talent strategy. Collaborate with HR colleagues (Learning & Development, Compensation, Operations) to design and implement people programs. Provide strategic guidance, coaching, and development feedback to managers and employees. Deliver data analysis and reporting solutions based on business needs. Support compensation reviews, talent development, performance management, employee relations, organizational design, and more. Partner with sales and commercial leadership to support, launch, and reinforce sales‑focused programs (incentive and commission plan rollouts, sales onboarding, performance enablement). Lead workforce planning for a large commercial team, including org design, headcount planning, and scaling both field‑based and headquarters functions. Translate commercial and people data into insights on retention, engagement, and performance to turn insights into action. Deliver HR updates and presentations during commercial team meetings, requiring strong public‑speaking skills. Mentor junior HR Business Partners and support team members across the organization. Travel approximately 10‑20% depending on business needs. Location preferred: Washington DC or East Coast. Personal and Professional Qualifications 8+ years of strategic HR experience, including as an HR Business Partner or in an equivalent role. Excellent problem‑solving capabilities and thoughtful decision making. Project management and change‑management experience, driving programs independently. Strong interpersonal skills, building relationships at all levels. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong hard skills including financial acumen. Adaptable, resilient, and thrives in a fast‑paced commercial environment. 4+ years supporting a large commercial, sales, or revenue‑generating organization as an HR Business Partner. Demonstrated success building collaborative partnerships with senior leaders. Direct experience supporting sales initiative programs and sales‑focused programs. Strong business and commercial acumen, connecting HR strategy to revenue and go‑to‑market objectives. Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent work experience; HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
