Senior Project Manager - CCR (Coal Combustion Residual) Remediation

Overview We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead a multi-year, $400M environmental remediation and construction project at a coal power plant site in the Midwest (location confidential). 90% of this project will involve removing CCR and placing it in an enclosure/landfill. This is a high-visibility, long-term opportunity to join an elite team and deliver lasting environmental impact through engineering excellence and leadership. This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the United States. Compensation Base pay range: $185,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Simplex. Key Responsibilities Direct and manage all phases of a large-scale remediation and landfill construction project, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Oversee and coordinate a core team of engineers, supervisors, QA/QC, and health & safety professionals. Serve as the main interface for clients and key stakeholders, maintaining communication and building trust throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure project compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company procedures. Manage project finances, reporting, and forecasting against established schedules and deliverables. Periodically visit the site for inspections and problem-solving; most work is office-based with minimal required travel. Drive innovation and excellence in remediation systems and construction management.
