Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A pharmacy role is available for a Weekend Pharmacist at a specialty pharmacy setting in Cold Spring, MN. This position involves combining long-term care and retail pharmacy duties to deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services. The schedule includes weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, offering a consistent work routine.
Responsibilities:
- Dispense medications accurately in both retail and long-term care settings
- Provide patient counseling on prescription medications and health concerns
- Manage inventory and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Administer immunizations and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
Qualifications:
- PharmD degree preferred or MTM certification
- Immunization certification required
- CPR certification mandatory
- Experience as a staff pharmacist in retail or specialty pharmacy settings
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and drug interactions
Schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (per diem)
