Before becoming an agent with State Farm, I spent four years as a team member, building a strong foundation in the business. Prior to that, I worked as a bartender and server while in college, which helped me develop strong communication skills and the ability to connect with people from all walks of life. I’m a graduate of Florida International University and am happily married. I’m a proud Cuban American and an active member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Outside of work, I’m passionate about giving back—especially through involvement in the LGBTQIA+ community and supporting bully and dog rescue efforts. ROLE DESCRIPTION Rachel Machin - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. If you thrive in a supportive role and are eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry. RESPONSIBILITIES Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members. Manage appointment scheduling and office communications. Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records. Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options. Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs. Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects. QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role. Communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational and multitasking abilities.
