Job TitleCritical Care Unit Registered NursePosition DetailsWork Shift: Night Shift - 12 (United States of America)Scheduled Weekly Hours: 30Department: Critical Care Unit 3 TowerOverview of PositionOur 24-bed Critical Care Unit provides optimal care to trauma, surgical, respiratory, and cardiac patients. The CCU RN must work successfully in a fast-paced environment while caring for critically ill patients. The incumbent must utilize quick critical thinking skills and be a strong patient advocate. The RN plans, provides, and/or supervises the nursing care of patients in an efficient and caring manner. The individual must adhere to universal precautions and be compliant with infection control policies. The CCU RN works independently with minimal supervision and collaborates with physicians and other disciplines to ensure quality patient care.
