This role is a trusted operational partner who brings operations depth, systems thinking, and clear communication to business operations and information technology initiatives. Sitting within Business Operations and reporting to the Business Operations Leader, the Technology Operations Coordinator is the internal point of contact for day-to-day technology operations and works alongside our outsourced IT partner. This is not an entry-level technology operations position; the ideal candidate is comfortable exercising discretion, prioritization, and independent decision-making within defined boundaries. This role is based out of our Lakewood or Loveland, Colorado office.

General Responsibilities-including, but not limited to:

Technology Asset & License Management

• Maintain an accurate inventory of all hardware assets — laptops, monitors, peripherals, and mobile devices — across all office locations.
• Manage software licensing across all platforms, including AI, Autodesk, and project management tools, tracking renewals, true-ups, usage, and compliance.
• Maintain organized records of vendor contracts, warranties, and service agreements.
• Track and report key technology metrics — license utilization, ticket volume, and hardware lifecycle — including a defined refresh schedule, to support leadership decision-making.
• Develop budgets and forecasting tools for hardware assets and software licensing.

Technology Support & Vendor Coordination

• Serve as the internal liaison between staff and our outsourced IT partner, working closely with our IT partner triaging requests, communicating status updates, and reviewing open support tickets.
• Coordinate technology procurement: sourcing, purchase orders, vendor coordination, and receiving, in alignment with budget guidelines.
• Develop and maintain onboarding and offboarding technology checklists to ensure consistent, timely provisioning and deprovisioning.

Business Operations

• Communicate technology updates, best practices, and policy changes to staff in clear, accessible language.
• Support the evaluation and implementation of new tools and systems as the firm grows.
• Support expense tracking, invoices, purchase orders, and operational projects.
• Assist with SOP updates, audits, and project tracking.
• Provide coverage and continuity through cross-training.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Advanced Organizational Skill: Demonstrated ability to manage complex records, competing priorities, and interdependent workflows.
• High Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy with license counts, asset records, procurement tracking, and communications.
• Strong Written & Verbal Communication: Comfortable drafting polished internal communications and translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Operational Ownership: Takes responsibility for outcomes, not just assigned tasks.
• Systems-Oriented: Thinks in processes, patterns, and continuous improvement.
• Technology: Strong working knowledge of Software administration (licensing, user management, basic configuration) and comfort learning new tools and workflows.
• Reliability & Accountability: Consistent follow-through, time management, and trustworthiness.
• Adaptability: Comfortable with ambiguity and effective in changing environments with shifting priorities and timelines.
• Team Player: Works collaboratively with firm leadership, team members, and external technology partner, contributing to a cohesive and productive work environment.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional education or professional certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in technology operations, IT coordination, or business operations.
• Exposure to asset management or procurement processes; AEC industry, professional services, Autodesk, or BIM familiarity is a plus.
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation supporting multi-office operations in the front range.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Able to lift 20 lbs.

Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience.
