Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:


Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to deliver specialized critical care services for neuro patients in a fast-paced hospital environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in neuro cases and possess strong critical care skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to ICU neuro patients following physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient vitals, neurological status, and respond promptly to clinical changes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and adherence to safety standards.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Float to other units as needed within scope of practice, ensuring seamless patient care continuity.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid CA RN license uploaded in Nursys within the last 2 weeks.
• Have at least 3 years of ICU nursing experience, with proficiency in neuro patient management.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications with expiration dates.
• Demonstrate excellent critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Be flexible and adaptable to floating across units and campuses.
• Meet all travel compliance and onboarding requirements prior to start date.
