People Operations CoordinatorWe're seeking a People Operations Coordinator with a strong focus on onboarding and new hire experience. At the core of this role is the ability to run a high-volume, end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring every new hire feels prepared, welcomed, and set up for success from day one. This role also supports the broader day-to-day operations of our People function in a high-growth environment, with a strong emphasis on leveraging automation, AI tools, and workflow platforms to build efficient, scalable people operations. It's a great fit for someone who is operationally minded, energized by process improvement, and excited to help shape what modern people ops looks like.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate end-to-end onboarding for new hires, including pre-employment background checks, new hire paperwork, I-9 verification, travel arrangements, and any other pre-boarding coordinationServe as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout their onboarding journey, managing start date tracking and ensuring a smooth transition into the companyPrepare and distribute onboarding materials including employee handbooks and policy documentsOwn the updating and management of new hire training materials and live sessions, both in the LMS and in person, in coordination with cross-functional teamsCollaborate with IT to ensure new hires have system access set up, and conduct laptop setup sessions with new employeesContinuously look for ways to automate and improve the onboarding experience and streamline processes for scaleOwn the operational infrastructure that keeps our people processes running smoothly and efficiently. Identify manual, repetitive workflows across the people function and lead efforts to automate them through AI tools, workflow platforms, and smarter use of our existing systemsBuild and maintain the trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools that keep the team organized and data-informedDocument processes clearly as you build them, creating a foundation that scales with the companyManage transactions in our HRIS, including adding new hire profiles, processing status changes, and handling off boardingMaintain accurate employee and company records, including personnel files and org chartsDraft employment verification letters, offer letters, and other employment-related correspondenceEnsure accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements, including wage rate notices, labor law postings, and required training such as harassment preventionSupport immigration processes and documentation for candidates and existing employeesAssist with auditing HR data and identifying opportunities to improve data integrity and process efficiencySupport compensation and benefits administration, including helping employees navigate enrollment, changes, and general questionsServe as a reliable first point of contact for employee questions related to HR policies, benefits, and general people operationsSupport managers with people-related processes including performance review cycles, promotion documentation, and role changesHelp coordinate and track performance management cycles, ensuring timelines are communicated and followed across the organizationAssist with sensitive employee situations with professionalism and a high degree of discretionManage company swag inventory and coordinate distribution for new hires, birthdays, work anniversaries, and other employee engagement momentsCoordinate employee recognition efforts including anniversary and birthday gift-giving programsSupport HR-related projects spanning administration, compliance, employee experience, and organizational culturePartner with Finance, Legal, and other teams on cross-functional people initiatives such as headcount planning, policy updates, and compliance reportingAssist with building and documenting scalable HR processes as the company growsTake on stretch projects and ad-hoc assignments across the people function as business needs evolveMove at rocket speed, build something massive.We're scaling fast, solving real client problems with precision and ambition. EliseAI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes base salary, equity, and a comprehensive benefits & perks package. Exact compensation inclusive of salary and any bonuses is determined based on a number of factors including experience and skill level, location and qualifications which are assessed during the interview process.
