FULL-TIME REMODELING & LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

DirtyWorks Home Services is looking for a dependable, versatile employee to join our team in the greater Texarkana area. We provide residential and light-commercial remodeling, repair, landscaping, lawn maintenance, and property-improvement services.

This is one full-time position that combines remodeling and lawn care. The person hired must be willing and able to switch between remodeling projects and landscaping or lawn maintenance as our workload, weather, and scheduling needs change. Some days may involve construction or repair work, while others may be spent mowing, landscaping, or completing outdoor property maintenance.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality work, works well with a crew, learns quickly, and can be counted on to arrive at work consistently and on time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Remodeling and Property Repair:

• Perform residential and light-commercial remodeling and repair work
• Install and repair drywall, trim, doors, flooring, cabinets, and fixtures
• Perform interior and exterior painting and preparation
• Assist with bathroom, kitchen, flooring, and water-damage renovations
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials accurately
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and jobsite equipment
• Load, unload, and organize tools and construction materials
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites

Landscaping and Lawn Maintenance:

• Mow residential and commercial properties using zero-turn and walk-behind mowers
• Edge sidewalks, driveways, flowerbeds, and curbs
• Operate string trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other lawn equipment
• Trim shrubs, small trees, and ornamental plants
• Install and maintain mulch, flowerbeds, plants, and basic landscaping
• Perform leaf removal, brush removal, property cleanups, and debris hauling
• Load, unload, clean, and maintain lawn equipment and tools
• Assist with other exterior property-maintenance work as needed

General Responsibilities:

• Move between remodeling and lawn-maintenance assignments as directed
• Follow instructions, daily schedules, measurements, and job specifications
• Work efficiently both independently and as part of a crew
• Maintain a professional appearance and respectful conduct around customers
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, customers, and subcontractors
• Report equipment problems, property damage, and safety concerns promptly
• Help keep company vehicles, trailers, tools, and work areas clean and organized

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in remodeling, construction, carpentry, property maintenance, landscaping, or lawn care is preferred
• Working knowledge of common hand and power tools
• Experience operating zero-turn mowers and commercial lawn equipment is preferred
• Willingness to learn new skills and perform a wide variety of tasks
• Ability to follow instructions and complete work efficiently
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required
• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Must have a working smartphone for schedules, communication, and job-related applications
• Must be able to perform physical labor, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and lift at least 50 pounds
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in heat, cold, and changing weather conditions
• Must be willing to work in both remodeling and lawn maintenance rather than only one type of work

Experience in drywall finishing, painting, flooring, tile, carpentry, plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, landscaping, or commercial lawn care is a plus. Applicants do not have to be experts in every area, but they must be willing to learn, work hard, and help wherever they are needed.

SCHEDULE

Full-time, primarily Monday through Friday. Start and finish times may vary depending on weather, workload, mowing routes, and project schedules. Occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required following weather delays or as job schedules require.

PAY

Based on experience and demonstrated ability.
