Clinical Care Technician Post Intensive Care Unit I

Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician for Community Medical Center. Community Medical Center is a 592‑bed, fully accredited acute care hospital located at 99 Highway 37 West, Toms River, NJ 08755. The position is in the Post Intensive Care Unit‑I and is scheduled for a night shift. The hourly pay range is $20.57 – $24.39. Qualifications Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. BLS certification (American Heart Association). Preferred: Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program. Certified nursing assistant (CNA) preferred. Scheduling Requirements Day Shift, 36 hours per week, 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Essential Functions The CCT is a direct patient caregiver who assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care, including phlebotomy and EKGs. Provides patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients in the assigned service. Ensures effective and safe patient outcomes through practice, judgment, and critical actions. Communicates with patients and nursing colleagues regarding the status of patient care. Participates in the collaboration of a patient’s plan of care from admission to discharge to ensure safe transitioning.
