Special Instructions Learning Frameworks classes meet during the day. Applicants must hold a master's degree with at least 18 hours of graduate education coursework. The adjunct faculty member creates and maintains an effective learning environment in the modalities of the courses assigned, be they face-to-face, hybrid, online, or within the context of dual credit instruction. All faculty members are expected to maintain familiarity with and adhere to College policies and procedures. EDUC 1300 – Learning Frameworks: A study of the research and theory in the psychology of learning, cognition and motivation; factors that impact learning; and application of learning strategies. Theoretical models of strategic learning, cognition and motivation serve as the conceptual basis for the introduction of college-level study strategies. This course meets a core curriculum requirement in the component area option category. Required Education All faculty members must provide minimum Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) credential standards which normally include a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester credit hours in the teaching discipline.
