Step into a rewarding opportunity to support students as a Speech Language Pathologist for a contract position in an educational setting. This full-time, on-site role runs through the academic year and focuses on delivering high-quality therapy and case management services to students ranging from kindergarten to high school. Two positions are available: one involves providing therapy and managing the caseload at a single campus, while the other supervises SLPAs and oversees students at both an elementary and high school level.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Texas licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Previous experience working in school settings, supporting children ages K-12
• Strong understanding of speech and language development in children and adolescents
• Bilingual (Spanish-English) candidates preferred
• Willingness to complete or verify fingerprinting through the TEA (processing may take up to 10 business days)
• Comfortable with an itinerant schedule, traveling between two campuses if needed
• Excellent collaboration skills for working with teachers, families, and other service providers

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Efficiently case manage student needs and documentation at assigned campuses
• Supervise and guide SLP Assistants (SLPAs) as needed
• Collaborate closely with educational teams to support student communication goals
• Participate in meetings, evaluations, and parent consultations
• Maintain up-to-date records and compliance with district and state requirements
