Production Specialist
Location: Acton, MA 01720
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Pay: $24.29/hour on W2
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a Production Specialist to support the assembly, testing, kitting, and inventory management of medical devices, including Personal Diabetes Managers (PDMs). The role requires following SOPs and quality/regulatory requirements while maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconfigure and test mobile devices into dedicated PDMs.
- Assemble, label, inspect, and package components and finished goods.
- Perform inventory transactions, cycle counts, and reconciliation.
- Follow FDA 21 CFR, ISO 13485, cGMP, and company quality procedures.
- Identify quality/process issues and collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams.
- Support Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives and troubleshoot production issues.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Comfortable with light mechanical assembly and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Prior regulated/medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.
