Transaction Review & Disbursement Specialist

Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Employment Type: Contract (6 Months)

Pay Rate: $20-$23/hour

About the Opportunity

A growing financial services organization is seeking detail-oriented professionals to support its Transaction Review and Disbursement team. Key Responsibilities

• Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness before funds are released
• Verify payment requests including checks, EFTs, ACH transactions, and wire transfers
• Review documentation for required signatures, approvals, and supporting information
• Validate banking information and identify discrepancies or missing details
• Complete reporting and transaction reviews within established deadlines
• Process and review disbursement documentation
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely payment processing
• Maintain a high level of accuracy while managing multiple priorities and tight turnaround times
• Support daily payment and disbursement operations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of professional work experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Demonstrated work ethic and reliability
• Excellent communication and customer service mindset

Training & Onboarding

Comprehensive training will be provided during the first week, followed by transition into the standard work schedule. You'll be joining a collaborative, experienced team dedicated to supporting critical financial operations.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
