Cost Controller

POSITION STATEMENT The Cost Controller plays a critical role in ensuring the financial efficiency and sustainability of the organization by monitoring, analyzing, and managing costs across all departments KEY RESPONISIBILITIES FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: Ensure cost effective allocation and use of company resources. GOVERNANCE Adhere to company policies and departmental procedures, and other compliance regulations OPERATIONAL Ensure processing and sign off all ad hoc payments related to non-project purchase orders and invoices Follow up on purchase orders and invoices approvals Ensure correct allocations for all expenses Ensure that the banking details of the invoice are accurate Ensure each invoice is matched with the purchase order and the invoice references the purchase order number Ensure expenses are approved and comply with all company polices If a difference between purchase order and invoice exists, liaise with the responsible individual in the regions Prepare all creditor reconciliations accurately and on time Preparation of weekly and monthly payment packs and prepare CSV All payments to submitted with reconciliations to supplier statements (not paid to invoices only) Accurate supplier details are captured and relevant documentation uploaded Drive tracking and reconciling of all credit card expenses LEARNING AND GROWTH Complete personal development actions within agreed budget based on performance rating and career path CLIENT MANAGEMENT Professional communication and service to our client base To liaise with corporate contacts, build and develop relationships BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES Accuracy Devotion to quality Dutifulness Performing under pressure Planning Result-oriented SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE Knowledge and understanding of the telecommunications industry Intermediate accounting knowledge Intermediate knowledge of all the financial cycles Intermediate knowledge of the financial systems Detailed knowledge of the payments cycle Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Qualifications & Experience Grade 12 Relevant Degree such as Accounting advantageous Work Level Skilled Job Type Permanent Salary Market Related EE Position Yes Location JHB North #J-18808-Ljbffr
