Records Management Specialist 2 (Mid-Level) - NIGC EOE Statement: Technology Automation & Management (TeAM), Inc. Description Pending Contract Award Mission Objectives The Records Management Specialist 2 provides mid-level records and information management support to the NIGC, with a primary focus on Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA) processing, federal records management compliance, and the administration of supporting technology platforms including Salesforce CRM, Microsoft 365, and SharePoint. This position ensures the NIGC's information governance meets all federal privacy and legal requirements and contributes to the effective management of agency records and correspondence. Position Responsibilities Perform records management activities according to Federal government privacy and legal requirements Assist in the development of analyses and reports associated with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and the Privacy Act (PA) processes Manage the flow of FOIA and PA correspondence or requests and establish processes to provide prompt responses to requestors in accordance with FOIA policies, procedures, and guidelines Perform technical tasks involved in maintaining Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system Participate in the development of information management policies and governance of supporting applications on Microsoft 365 and Salesforce platforms Manage SharePoint sites content and permissions Create and execute PowerShell scripts to produce reports and perform records management tasks Compile data for reports, transcribe reports, and maintain indexes Ensure that all work products are proofread and free of errors, omissions, and inconsistencies Position Requirements Experience Demonstrated hands‑on experience with FOIA and Privacy Act request processing, correspondence management, and federal records management requirements Demonstrated hands‑on experience with Salesforce CRM system administration and maintenance Experience managing SharePoint sites (content management and permissions) Experience creating and executing PowerShell scripts for reporting and records management tasks Experience working within the Microsoft 365 platform in a records/information management capacity Education and Credentials Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Information Management, Library Science, Public Administration, or related field (relevant IT certifications may substitute for formal degree per SOO Section 6) Certifications: CompTIA Security+ (required) Years of Experience: Minimum 3 continuous years in records management / information management Optional/Value-Added Qualifications Prior FOIA/PA processing experience within a federal agency, particularly independent commissions Experience with NARA records management directives, schedules, and disposition authorities Advanced PowerShell scripting capabilities for enterprise automation Experience developing information governance frameworks on M365 and Salesforce Knowledge of federal privacy requirements (e.g., Privacy Impact Assessments, System of Records Notices) Education: Master's Degree in Information Management, Library Science, or related field Certifications/Training: Certified Records Manager (CRM), Salesforce Administrator Certification, Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator/SharePoint Administrator, ITIL v4 Foundation Experience: 5+ years in federal records/information management; experience with M365 compliance and data governance tools Duty Location NIGC Headquarters, 550 12th Street SW, Washington, DC 20024 Work Arrangement Primarily Onsite; limited remote work may be authorized at the discretion of the Federal Task Manager Travel Requirements None Minimum Security Clearance Required Public Trust (background investigation, NDA, NIGC Rules of Behavior, PIV Card required) Employment Type Full-Time Job Status: Currently accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr Technology,-Automation,-and-Management,-Inc.
