Located in one of Atlanta's most prestigious neighborhoods, this Forbes 4-Star and AAA 4-Diamond hotel is a 42-story tower with over 200 rooms (127 guest rooms plus residences), over 10,000 square feet of meeting space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes the 3-meal restaurant, bar, and in-room dining.

As a Pastry Chef de Partie at Waldorf Astoria Atlanta Buckhead, you're not just leading the preparation of great tasting pastry items you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:

• Oversee pastry production: Supervise and participate in the preparation, baking, and presentation of pastries, breads, rolls, and desserts for all food and beverage outlets
• Inspect for quality: Ensure pastry cooks follow recipes and quality guidelines while inspecting food for taste, texture, and presentation
• Develop new pastry offerings: Create and refine pastry items for la carte and catering menus as needed
• Manage inventory needs: Prepare daily requisitions for pastry supplies and ingredients to support smooth kitchen operations
• Support team performance: Train, schedule, and supervise team members, providing guidance and support to foster a positive and productive work environment
• Uphold regulatory standards: Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
