Revenue Accounting Manager

Responsibilities include:/pulliReviewing software license, hardware, and services contracts and determining the most appropriate revenue accounting per relevant authoritative literature (e.g. ASC 606, ASC 842) and internal revenue recognition policies/liliPreparing contract memos highlighting key arrangement components and the five steps required for revenue recognition under ASC 606/liliPreparing analytical reports pertaining to revenue-related accounts on a recurring and ad hoc basis/liliParticipating in quarterly reviews and annual audits conducted by internal and external auditors, including SOX 404 requirements/liliPerforming quarter-end close activities, including posting journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and executing daily revenue transactions to ensure revenue is properly captured in the financial system/liliContributing to or driving special projects as needed/li/ulpPosition Requirements:/pulli5-6 years of industry and/or public accounting (Big 4) experience/liliHigh degree of ethics; meticulous attention to detail/liliStrong knowledge of ASC 606 and related guidance/liliBS in Accounting, Finance, or related field/liliProficiency with Microsoft Excel/liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills/liliStrong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to gather and evaluate information and formulate conclusions/liliAbility to work and communicate effectively with cross functional team/liliAbility to work on own initiative/li/ulpDesirable Qualifications:/pulliCertified Public Accountant/liliExperience with SAP/liliStrong knowledge of ASC 842/liliAbility and desire to use AI and other tools to improve processes/li/ulpThe annual salary range for California is $126,000 to $234,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure.
