We are recognized by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) with a national Clinical Trials Participation Award, FCS offers patients access to more clinical trials than any private oncology practice in Florida. Our patients have access to ground-breaking therapies, in a community setting, and may participate in national clinical research studies of drugs and treatment protocols. In the past five years, the majority of new cancer drugs approved for use in the U.S. were studied in clinical trials with FCS participation prior to approval. Responsibilities

The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, with experience in IV therapy. The ability to assess patient needs and condition. Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days). Fluency in the English language with excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability and willingness to travel to clinics. Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred but not required.

Locations: Lake City - Gainesville - Palatka - Fleming Island

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 430pm, no nights, no weekends
