System Administrator

Akkodis is seeking a System Administrator for a Contract with a client in Indianapolis, IN. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in Windows Server and VMware administration with hands-on expertise in managing enterprise data center environments to be considered .

Rate Range: $34/Hour to $37/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


System Administrator Job Responsibilities include:

• Manage and support enterprise data center infrastructure including Windows Servers and VMware environments.
• Perform server lifecycle activities such as building, patching, upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning.
• Monitor systems, handle incidents, perform RCA, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and manage file/print servers.
• Configure and maintain VMware components including vCenter, HA, DRS, VMotion, and storage integrations.
• Collaborate with support teams and vendors to maintain system availability and support business operations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in Windows Server and VMware administration within enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and server lifecycle management (build, patch, migration).
• Proven ability to manage incidents, perform troubleshooting/RCA, and support data center infrastructure operations.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $37.00 per hour
