Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients, visitors, and other individuals in a professional and courteous manner
• Perform patient check-in and check-out activities accurately and efficiently
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments according to established procedures
• Register new patients and verify that demographic, contact, and insurance information is accurate and complete
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility as required
• Update patient information and maintain accurate records within applicable healthcare systems
• Answer incoming telephone calls and respond appropriately to patient questions and requests
• Route calls, messages, and patient concerns to the appropriate department, provider, or clinical staff member
• Provide patients with information regarding appointments, required documentation, and general office procedures
• Assist with referral, authorization, or other administrative processes as assigned
• Collect applicable patient payments, copayments, or outstanding balances in accordance with established procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and administrative activities
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to support efficient patient flow
• Address routine patient concerns professionally and escalate complex issues when appropriate
• Protect the confidentiality and privacy of patient information in accordance with applicable policies and regulations
• Maintain an organized reception and patient service area
• Follow established healthcare, departmental, safety, privacy, and administrative procedures
• Perform additional administrative and patient support duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience
• High School Diploma
