Assistant Finance DirectorJoin the City of Otsego as the newly created Assistant Finance Director! Manages the daily operations of the Finance Department including serving as the Assistant Chief Financial Officer of the City. Responsible for performing essential accounting functions, including, but not limited to: bank reconciliations, cash and investment management, budget development and monitoring, financial reporting, risk management and additional duties as assigned by the Finance Director.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in accounting or financeThree (3) years of experience in a governmental accounting or finance related positionPreferred Qualifications:Certified Public Accountant licensureCertified Public Finance Officer licensurePrevious experience in a supervisory positionPrevious experience with Caselle (Civic Systems)Previous experience with governmental economic development or city/county managementBenefits information is not available for this position.
