Customer Service Representative 3PL Experience

Job Description Multiple positions open in Southern California: Bellflower City of Industry Walnut Ontario Fontana Rialto Redlands Perris The Customer Service Representative with 3PL experience plays a critical role within a cross-functional team, ensuring seamless order processing and communication between customers and warehouse operations. This position involves managing order allocations, generating shipping labels, coordinating routing requests, and maintaining accurate billing. Working primarily within standard business hours with occasional overtime, the representative uses Warehouse Management Systems and shipping software to support logistics and customer service functions effectively. Responsibilities Allocate orders using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Generate UCC and shipping labels for outbound shipments Submit and follow up on routing requests Create accurate bills of lading compliant with VICS standards Invoice customers for value-added services promptly Provide timely updates to customers on order status Support CSR Manager(s), team captains, and other team members as needed Manage communication and ensure deadlines are met Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years experience in a 3PL customer service environment Knowledge of general warehouse practices Experience with routing and vendor compliance for major retailers Understanding of Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) versus Truckload (TL) shipping Proficiency in small parcel shipping software including FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip Knowledge of VICS bills of lading requirements Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage and meet deadlines reliably Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Experience with billing and invoicing processes Bilingual in English and Spanish CSS Employment Group is a national staffing and recruitment organization specializing in providing contract, temporary, and direct hire solutions across various industries.
