Luxury Store Manager - Lead Sales, Team & P&L

Summary The Store Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the Chicago store, including achieving sales objectives, maintaining operational and merchandising standards, and leading and developing the store team. This role carries full profit and loss responsibility and requires strong leadership to drive customer service excellence and business results. The manager will oversee inventory, store appearance, administrative tasks, and collaboration with regional and corporate teams. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day store operations, staff scheduling, payroll submissions, and administrative documentation. Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop sales and support staff; conduct regular one-to-one reviews and performance evaluations. Drive sales performance and clienteling to meet or exceed sales budgets and individual objectives. Oversee inventory management, cycle and physical counts, and use of POS and Retail Pro systems for ordering and stock control. Maintain merchandising and visual standards, store appearance, and compliance with corporate directives. Own store P & L with attention to controllable expenses and provide required qualitative and quantitative reports to management. Requirements Minimum 7 years of store management experience, preferably within a luxury retail environment. Business school, university degree, or equivalent experience. Proven leadership skills with ability to motivate teams, develop talent, and resolve customer and staff issues. Computer literate with experience using POS, inventory management systems, and common software packages.
