Investigator Services Assistant - 2nd Shift

Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks an Investigator Services Assistant for its Global Central Labs in Covington, Kentucky, working second shift. The role provides operational support to investigator sites, resolving data discrepancies, managing specimen accessioning, and ensuring protocol compliance for clinical studies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for investigator sites regarding protocol compliance and data discrepancies
• Monitor, track, and resolve specimen accessioning issues to ensure accurate logging and clean data
• Communicate critical values, study alerts, and protocol requirements to sites via phone and email
• Triage calls and escalate site issues to appropriate departments for timely resolution
• Review site performance metrics and requisition forms to support efficient study execution

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with at least 2 years relevant experience
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Proficiency with data entry, Microsoft Office, and in-house laboratory software
• Strong phone and client service skills with excellent verbal and written communication
• Basic knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and pre-analytical specimen techniques
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with capacity to handle multiple priorities
