JOB: Logistics Coordinator, TRJFP Twickenham - apply by 31 Jul

Salary: £14.80/hour / 5 hours a week (10am-3pm Thursdays) Join a team of Food Waste Warriers by collecting surplus food and delivering to local community cafe venues. Since that first opening, they have fed 151,826 bellies and saved 402 tons of food surplus from landfill (Jun 2018 – Apr 2026). In this essential role, you will be using a hired Enterprise van each week on a Thursday to collect surplus food from the Felix Project in Acton and redistribute it to four of community café and surplus food hub venues across the borough of Richmond upon Thames. Empty crates will then need to be returned to Acton. Applicants must must: hold a full clean UK Driving Licence be comfortable driving a hired van be available on Thursdays 10am-3pm be able to to lift crates of food (crate carriers are available at each venue). It would be ideal if you are also available some Monday mornings to cover for the Monday driver.
