Join Our Caring CommunityAs a Medical Assistant you will be the first contact for patient care, responsible for administrative tasks in addition to patient care. Working onsite in a clinical environment and reporting to the Center Administrator you will perform varied activities and moderately complex administrative, operational, and customer support assignments.As a Medical Assistant you will perform clinical tasks such as:Documenting patient symptoms in EMRTaking and recording vital signsAdministering injectionsPerforming diagnostic testsCollecting specimens and drawing bloodSterilizing equipmentMaintaining examination roomsRequired Qualifications:Successful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider1+ years of MA experiencePhlebotomy experienceMedication/vaccine administration experienceCPR CertifiedOther Qualifications:Certified or RegisteredValue-based Care experience includes knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient ExperienceBilingual proficiency in English and SpanishWork Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00Location: Onsite at CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at 10180 W. Tropicana Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89147-8467This role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40Pay Range: $43,000 - $56,200 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
