Qualifications:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Virginia
• Previous experience within a school setting highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of IEP processes, documentation, and compliance
• Comfort working with students across the K-12 spectrum
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to changing schedules and priorities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to maximize student engagement
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per federal, state, and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive multidisciplinary team environment
• Provide training and resources for staff to support classroom success
