Compensation: $24.00 to $26.00 an hour - paid weekly
Shifts Available: Monday-Friday- 8:00AM-5:00PM
Summary:
The Operations Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks within our manufacturing environment. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:
Operations
Assist with the creation, organization, and maintenance of production-related documentation, including reports, schedules, and inventory records.
Coordinate communication between departments by answering phones, responding to emails, and relaying messages accurately and promptly.
Manage data entry tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
Support inventory management by updating records, tracking shipments, and assisting with stock checks.
Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and implement improvements where necessary
Human Resources
Assist with the full recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and processing background checks.
Collaborate with HR Manager and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements for each position.
Coordinate new employee onboarding activities, including communication with employees, preparing necessary paperwork, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Maintain employee files and documentation
Assist in implementing employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Respond to routine employee questions regarding policies and procedures.
General
Provide administrative support to management as needed, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and organizing materials.
Uphold confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information and documents.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to facilitate efficient workflow and adhere to safety protocols.
Assist with additional tasks and projects as assigned to support the overall success of the facility.
All other duties as assigned.
Candidate Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in administrative support is a plus
2+ years' experience in a full-time administrative role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications
Previous experience in human resources is strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities/Physical Requirements:
Proven experience in a clerical or administrative role, preferably within a manufacturing or human resources environment.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
Adaptability to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges as they arise.
