Part-Time | Receptionist

Schedule: every other Sunday 4:00pm -8:00pm | 4 hours per two-week pay period. Additional hours may be available for pick up. This will include a rotating holiday with the Reception Team.

Pay Range: $16.87 - $22.89/hour depending on experience | Same Day Pay Available

We are looking for a part-time Receptionist to serve seniors with compassionate, supportive care at one of Minnesota's leading nonprofit senior housing and service providers. This role offers a consistent schedule of every other Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

As our Receptionist, you will help guide guests to where they are looking to go and be the go-to person for answering questions. If you have a passion for working with seniors and take pride in creating a warm, supportive environment, we would love to have you on our team. Our Receptionist is responsible for:

-Serve as the first point of contact by greeting visitors, residents, families, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner

-Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, directing calls to the appropriate departments or team members

-Provide clear directions and general information to visitors and guests

-Support administrative and clerical tasks for multiple departments as needed

-Maintain a calm, organized front desk environment while managing multiple priorities

-Communicate professionally and effectively with residents, families, team members, and external partners

-Demonstrate strong customer service skills while supporting a positive community experience

Qualifications

-Minimum one year of receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience in a fast-paced environment

-Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

-Professional, friendly, and service-focused demeanor

-Strong verbal and written communication skills

-Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, families, vendors, and visitors in a variety of situations

-Strong multitasking, organization, and prioritization skills

-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

-Basic typing skills (approximately 30–35 words per minute)
