You will identify, qualify, and close technology solutions opportunities while building strategic relationships with public sector organizations throughout California.California SLED Focus: This role exclusively supports Insight's California State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) market. The ideal candidate will bring 5-10 years of technology sales experience within the public sector, with a strong understanding of government and education procurement processes, contract vehicles, stakeholder engagement, and complex sales cycles.What You'll DoLeverage Insight's services expertise to deliver end-to-end solutions, from strategic vision through implementation and ongoing support.Develop and execute territory growth strategies focused on California State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) accounts.Build relationships with key decision-makers across government agencies, municipalities, counties, K-12 districts, and higher education institutions.Tailor cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and analytics solutions to address the unique needs of public sector organizations.Manage the entire sales lifecycle from prospecting and opportunity development through negotiation and close.Collaborate with technical and delivery teams to align solutions with customer objectives and procurement requirements.Be AmbITious: This opportunity is not just about what you do today but also about where you can go tomorrow. When you bring your hunger, heart, and harmony to Insight, your potential will be met with continuous opportunities to grow, advance, and elevate your career.What We're Looking For5-10 years of successful technology sales experience supporting State, Local Government, and Education (SLED) customers.Proven track record of developing and closing opportunities within California public sector organizations.Strong understanding of government procurement processes, public sector contracting vehicles, cooperative purchasing programs, and buying cycles.Previous Microsoft Enterprise cloud sales experience required; AWS and GCP enterprise sales experience are considered an advantage.Experience developing and executing strategic sales plans while building executive-level customer relationships.Demonstrated ability to sell technology solutions that address complex business and operational challenges.Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.What You Can ExpectWe're legendary for taking care of you, your family, and your community while helping you build a meaningful career.
