Job Description

As a Forklift and Machine Operator, you will be responsible for running orienteer machines and operating a sit-down forklift to efficiently move materials around the plant. You will stage rolls of product and troubleshoot the production line when machinery malfunctions.

Responsibilities

• Operate orienteer machines and sit-down forklifts to move materials within the plant.

• Stage rolls of product for processing.

• Troubleshoot production line issues if machinery malfunctions.

• Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience operating a sit-down forklift.

• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience.

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with RF scanners.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

Work Environment

Work in an industrial environment that is not climate-controlled. Join the night shift from 7:45 PM to 8:00 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule, with initial training on days from Monday to Friday for two weeks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Athens, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $22.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
