Description – What You'll Be Responsible For

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory analyses—including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more—following established protocols.
• Evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for necessary testing.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, engage in training for new staff or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and secure laboratory environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation specifications.

Required Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, including preparations for ASCP/AMT certification.

Required Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain your certification actively throughout the duration of your employment.
