Payroll Clerk

Haddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking a Payroll Clerk to join our Finance team. The Payroll Clerk will work closely with the Finance Manager, CFO, Human Resources, and supervisors to ensure the accurate and timely processing of employee payroll and timekeeping information.

Responsibilities:

• Verify and adjust employee time data and jobsite assignments in ExakTime on a daily basis
• Set up and maintain jobsites and geofences in ExakTime and Isolved using Sage information
• Process employee sick, vacation, and holiday time while maintaining attendance and leave records
• Set up and maintain employee records in Sage, ExakTime, and Isolved, ensuring information is complete and accurate
• Verify employee benefits and ensure accurate payroll deductions, including insurance and 401(k) contributions
• Enter manual timesheets and payroll adjustments as needed
• Transfer approved payroll data between ExakTime and Isolved and review all information for accuracy
• Review employee payroll records to ensure proper hours, overtime calculations, and deductions
• Prepare Executive Summary reports and supporting payroll documentation for CFO review
• Coordinate payroll information between Sage, ExakTime, and Isolved
• Verify monthly insurance invoices against active employee records for accuracy
• Process employee terminations and system updates in Sage, ExakTime, and Isolved
• Ensure compliance with company attendance, timekeeping, leave, and payroll policies
• Assist Human Resources with onboarding activities and employee record maintenance as needed
• Prepare labor and location reports for the Finance Manager
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• Experience with payroll systems such as Isolved, ADP, or similar
• Strong organizational skills, including multitasking and time management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills; capable of working independently and collaboratively
• Enthusiastic about learning and advancing within the company
• High attention to detail and quick retention of new information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Punctual and dependable

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Associate's degree in Accounting, or one year of payroll experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese

Compensation: $40,000-$50,000 Annually Benefits Include:

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a Full Time Position. Days and Hours of Work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
