Clinical Psychologist

Overview We are hiring a Clinical Psychologist to conduct a one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exam in Phoenix, AZ. Employment Details Employment Status: Part-Time (Full-Time considered) Compensation: $63.63/hr, paid bi-weekly Schedule: Part-Time preferred 401(k) Plan Requirements Licensed psychologist or psychiatrist in at least one U.S. state. Psychiatrists or neurologists must be board certified or have completed a 2-year residency. Psychologists must hold a PhD or PsyD with a major in psychology and specialize in adult populations such as Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology (child-focused programs are not accepted). Must have graduated from a doctorate or post-doctorate APA-accredited program. Certification: Active and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Demonstrates compassion and professionalism and a commitment to providing excellent service and care. Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and EMR platforms. Skilled in professional communication, critical thinking, and informed-care decision-making. Works independently and can manage time to deliver quality service while meeting deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in clinical settings. Prior VA or C&P experience. Job Summary Review pertinent mental health history documentation and provide one-time, non-treatment behavioral health compensation and pension exams for Veterans. Capture responses during the exam through a web-based examination form; complete all documentation electronically. Send completed exams to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations. Common reasons for assessment include PTSD, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. #J-18808-Ljbffr
