Project Communications Specialist

Job Overview An organization undergoing a major enterprise-wide transformation is seeking a Project Communications Specialist to support critical communication and stakeholder engagement activities. This role is ideal for a communications professional who can quickly integrate into a complex project environment, deliver high-quality messaging, and help ensure stakeholders remain informed, engaged, and aligned throughout the project lifecycle. Must Haves Proven experience in project communications, public relations, corporate communications, or a related discipline Strong ability to create professional written communications, presentations, and stakeholder-facing materials Experience supporting large, cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholder groups Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly PowerPoint and SharePoint Experience using digital communication platforms such as email marketing, content management, or collaboration tools Ability to adapt quickly to new organizational environments, terminology, and business processes Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and documentation practices Ability to balance urgent communications needs while contributing to long-term communication planning What the Client Needs You to Do The successful candidate will serve as a key communications resource supporting a high-visibility transformation initiative. This individual will help maintain consistent messaging across teams, ensure stakeholders receive timely and accurate updates, and support leadership through effective communication planning and execution. Key outcomes include improving stakeholder awareness, maintaining communication readiness across the organization, and ensuring project information is distributed, documented, and accessible. Key Responsibilities Audit communication activities across project teams to ensure alignment with broader program objectives and milestones Draft and distribute project briefings, stakeholder updates, presentations, announcements, and status communications Coordinate the creation and publication of newsletters, reports, and other project-related communication materials Maintain and update stakeholder distribution lists to support accurate and timely communications Manage project documentation repositories and shared collaboration sites, ensuring materials are organized and accessible Review and evaluate website content, providing recommendations for updates, enhancements, and new information Monitor communication channels and stakeholder feedback, escalating complex concerns to project leadership as appropriate Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders, project teams, and leadership groups Support communication planning efforts by balancing immediate project needs with long-term engagement strategies Prepare progress reports, maintain project records, and ensure continuity through comprehensive documentation Additional Information Work Arrangement Hybrid work environment with a combination of remote and on-site responsibilities Candidates must be able to report to a designated office location with limited notice when business needs require Initial onboarding, training, or project-specific activities may require increased on-site attendance Schedule Full-time position Standard business hours Monday through Friday Additional evening, weekend, or overtime work may be required based on project demands and deadlines Preferred Attributes Ability to establish credibility quickly within large and complex organizations Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills Comfortable working in environments where priorities can shift rapidly Demonstrated ability to manage multiple communication initiatives simultaneously Experience supporting change management, transformation programs, or enterprise projects is highly desirable W2 employees of Overture Partners who work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), 401(k) starting on day one, a variety of voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality. #J-18808-Ljbffr Overture Partners
