Assistant Controller

Position Title: Assistant Controller Position Summary This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, supporting inventory and cost accounting, and assisting with budgeting, audits, and compliance. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing accounting, knowledge of inventory and standard costing, and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, procurement, warehouse, and production teams. Responsibilities Financial & Accounting Operations Support daily accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing processes Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies Reporting & Analysis Prepare financial and operational reports for management Support profitability analysis by product, customer, and channel Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis Develop and monitor KPIs related to inventory, production efficiency, logistics costs, margins, and manufacturing performance Team Support Provide guidance and support to accounting staff Assist in developing standard operating procedures and cross‑training initiatives Act as backup for the senior finance lead when required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion or similar) Advanced Excel skills Experience with BI/reporting tools is a plus Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills English required; Japanese language skills are a plus High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Location: Miami Lakes, FL Work Type: Onsite Work Salary: USD100,000-120,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr JAC Recruitment
