Accounts Payable Clerk - Temporary Contract

Search Solution Group

Search Solution Group is seeking an AP Clerk on behalf of our client. This role will primarily support accounts payable and invoicing activities, including processing invoices, preparing payments, and assisting with basic accounting reporting. The ideal candidate has prior invoicing experience, a strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working with accounting systems and Excel.

Responsibilities:

  • Process accounts payable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Manage invoicing activities using Acumatica.
  • Prepare and submit check requests through US Bank.
  • Assist with ACH and wire payment processing.
  • Complete physical check requests as needed.
  • Maintain accurate invoice and payment documentation.
  • Review invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies when necessary.
  • Support general accounts payable and accounting-related tasks.
  • Assist with pulling reports once fully trained and comfortable with the role.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, invoicing, or a similar accounting support role.
  • Prior invoicing experience required.
  • Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including familiarity with common formulas and functions.
  • Experience working with accounting or ERP systems; Acumatica experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Comfortable working independently while supporting a broader accounting team.
