Associates degree Job Description: A professional engineering company in Middlesex County is seeking a detail-oriented individual with a minimum of an Associate Degree in a business-related field and 3-5 years of Accounting experience who will take complete responsibility for Sr. Project Accountant Role and related responsibilities. The applicant should display a positive and proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and possess excellent communication skills. Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Prepare and maintain various project accounting reports Enter monthly billing in the GL software system Maintain up-to-date billing system General Ledger Coding Reconcile to the general ledger & process adjustments Maintain Customer account files & aging reports Interact with project team on daily basis. Reconcile Bank Statements Resolve client queries Manage collection and allocation of payments Follow established procedures for processing cash receipts Education, Skills and Experience Requirements Knowledge of accounts receivable & AIA billing processes Knowledge of office administration and procedures Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures Experience and working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel Familiarity with Timberline software is a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Our company is an Equal Opportunity Employer
