Support Lead Part Time

The Five Below Store Manager leads a team of associates to deliver an outstanding customer experience, manage daily operations, and drive sales. Responsibilities Ensure all crew members are wowing the customer through personal contact. Train the crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience, ensuring a fast, friendly checkout. Oversee daily activities of all store associates, ensuring effective performance and excellent customer service. Assist with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock to place items efficiently on the sales floor. Act as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues. Manage the entire process of opening or closing the store, including securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring a smooth daily operation. Support onboarding and ongoing training of associates in store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Drive store sales and control expenses by boosting sales through merchandising, staff performance, and customer service. Partner with the store leadership team on merchandising procedures and World Recovery. Perform store maintenance, including garbage removal, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room. Additional responsibilities will be determined by the Store Manager as dictated by store needs. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent; college experience preferred. Minimum 1 year of management experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi‑task. Creative thinking. Ability to maintain composure under pressure. Essential Job Functions Frequently operate cash register. Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and place/remove merchandise up to a height of 5‑10 feet. Frequently ascend/descend ladders to retrieve and put away stock. Frequently position self to kneel, bend, twist, and stoop, including in the stock room and on the sales floor. Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers on the telephone and face‑to‑face, and with managers and coworkers, providing accurate information. Frequently move across the sales floor assisting customers, and to and from the stock room. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekends, overnight shifts, and travel as required. Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
