Senior Software Engineer

Overview We are seeking an innovative, modernization-minded Software Engineer to help reimagine and elevate the client experience across our platforms. You will join a collaborative, design-driven team with strong tenure and deep technical expertise. This role involves leading the development, implementation, and management of technology-based business solutions, with a focus on building scalable, high-quality applications that meet both functional and technical requirements. What You'll Do Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including: Requirements analysis Design Development Testing Deployment Maintenance Develop dynamic, responsive user interfaces using: Angular TypeScript HTML/CSS Modern front-end frameworks Design and build scalable backend services and APIs using: C# .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC Web API Integrate front-end applications with backend services Design and work with SQL Server databases (schema design, queries, data management) Write clean, maintainable, and testable code Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards and best practices Implement unit and integration testing to ensure quality Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior developers Time Allocation 80% - Software development (architecture, design, coding, database work, planning) 20% - Production support and incident response Required Skills C# / .NET SQL / Database Development Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) ASP.NET MVC Angular Preferred Qualifications 5-9 years of professional experience in .NET development Strong experience with C#, MVC, and modern .NET frameworks Proficiency in Angular and front-end technologies (TypeScript, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Solid understanding of OOP principles and design patterns Extensive experience with relational databases and SQL Experience with Git or other version control systems Familiarity with Azure cloud services Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration Experience Level Senior / Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Kansas City, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
