Radiologic Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures accurately and efficiently as ordered by physicians.
• Prepare and position patients for radiologic examinations while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate radiographic equipment and maintain image quality standards.
• Follow radiation safety and infection control protocols at all times.
• Review images for clarity and diagnostic quality before submission.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure smooth patient care.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and report any technical issues promptly.

Requirements:

• Minimum one (1) year of General Radiographer experience preferred.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology training program (Military Training accepted).
• Current ARRT certification and registration required.
• An active New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
