Senior Medical Director, Oncology Early Development

Senior Medical Director role overseeing early-phase oncology clinical development programs at a pharmaceutical company. Leads cross-functional teams in designing and executing clinical trials, managing regulatory submissions, and interpreting safety and efficacy data to support product development strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage design and implementation of one or more early-phase clinical development programs
• Oversee clinical study integrity, safety monitoring, and data interpretation across assigned protocols
• Develop and review scientific content of protocols, study reports, and regulatory submissions
• Lead cross-functional Clinical Strategy Team activities and participate in global scientific discussions
• Serve as clinical interface for investigator engagement and opinion leader interactions

Requirements

• M.D., D.O., or non-US equivalent with relevant therapeutic specialty
• Residency program completion strongly preferred
• Oncology subspecialty fellowship desirable
• At least 3 years clinical trial experience; minimum 2 years in pharmaceutical industry
• Proven ability to manage moderately complex clinical research programs independently
• Experience in thoracic malignancies and/or T-cell engager drug development strongly preferred
• Knowledge of clinical trial methodology, regulatory requirements, and study protocol design
