Cardiac Progressive Care Unit Registered NurseSpecific location details are not disclosed.This is a 13-week contract position.Night shift with a 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30). Must be flexible to float between like units and cover every other weekend.The Cardiac Progressive Care Unit Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with cardiac conditions. This includes managing pre and post-operative patients from open-heart and vascular surgeries, interpreting telemetry, and administering various treatments and medications. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.Provide nursing care to cardiac patients, including monitoring vital signs and telemetry.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV and blood product administration.Conduct assessments and develop nursing interventions based on patient needs.Perform patient education regarding heart health and post-operative care.Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for comprehensive patient care.Respond to emergency situations and manage complex patient needs effectively.2-3 years of telemetry nursing experience required, with a focus on cardiac surgical care.Must possess a valid compact RN license.ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.Epic experience is a hard stop requirement.Experience with VAD and TAVR procedures is preferred.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
