Role Overview

As a Solution Architect, you will lead large-scale, technology-enabled revenue cycle transformation initiatives for leading healthcare organizations. You will serve as both a strategic advisor and delivery leader - guiding clients from vision through execution to measurable outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep revenue cycle expertise with hands-on Epic mid-cycle experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to translate strategy into action. Expertise in charge capture and Charge Router, along with related documentation, coding, and revenue integrity workflows, is central to this role.

Responsibilities

Lead Transformation Engagements

• Own end-to-end delivery of revenue cycle transformation initiatives, including Epic implementation and optimization with a focus on mid-cycle workflows

• Define solution strategy, scope, and roadmap aligned to client goals and mid-cycle revenue integrity priorities

• Drive execution across complex, cross-functional teams spanning clinical, operational, coding, revenue integrity, and technical stakeholders

Architect Scalable Solutions

• Design and optimize Epic mid-cycle workflows across clinical documentation, clinical documentation integrity, charge capture, charge review, medical coding, and related revenue integrity processes

• Apply hands-on expertise with Epic Charge Router and order-based charging to improve charge capture, reduce missed charges, and support accurate billing workflows

• Ensure alignment between Epic configuration, business processes, and desired operational and financial outcomes

Advise and Influence

• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and operational stakeholders

• Lead decision-making, issue resolution, and governance structures across mid-cycle, revenue integrity, and technical teams

• Translate technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences

Drive Adoption and Change

• Partner with client leadership to enable adoption and sustain mid-cycle transformation

• Support change management strategies that improve charge capture, documentation, coding, and revenue cycle outcomes

Develop Teams

• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams across consulting and client organizations

• Foster a high-performing, collaborative team environment

Qualifications and Desired Skills

• 7+ years of experience leading complex, technology-enabled healthcare initiatives (e.g., Epic, automation, AI)

• Deep expertise in Epic mid-cycle revenue cycle, with hands-on experience in charge capture and Charge Router

• Experience across related mid-cycle and revenue integrity workflows, including clinical documentation, CDI, charge review, medical coding, or charge description master (CDM) management

• Proven success delivering large-scale Epic implementations or optimizations, particularly within mid-cycle or revenue integrity

• Strong understanding of EHR ecosystems, integrations, and revenue cycle analytics

• Experience leading client-facing engagements with the ability to influence executive and operational stakeholders

• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

• Epic certification in a relevant revenue cycle module (e.g., HB, PB, Coding, or related applications) is highly preferred but not required.

Salary range: $153,500-$198,000, plus may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
