Earlier this year, Coda expanded our technology practice into the Denver market! We are coming off our second best year in our firm’s 15 year history and riding a wave of new business across our client base. It's time to add a person to this new team!

Over the last 15 years, we have built deep, trusted relationships with elite clients across multiple verticals, including Investment Management firms and fast-growing startups reshaping AI, FinTech, Cybersecurity, and HealthTech. That momentum is opening new doors. We are expanding into new markets while also deepening our FL/ATL Technology coverage as demand continues to surge and our partnerships grow stronger.

Our technology team is split into teams across the US with our flagship team in our NYC based HQ. We have associates up and down the east coast and another team on 5 in FL. We also opened and expanded into TX in 2025! The work is exciting, visible, and meaningful, spanning ML Engineering and Quant Research, Software Engineering and IT Leadership, Cybersecurity and Information Security leadership, IC-level Software and Data Engineering, and Technical Program and Product Management .

Coda was thrilled to hire Ryan Jaco earlier this year and he has hit the ground running! Earlier in his career, Ryan had been wildly successful at RHi, Diversant, and his own company, Constellation Search Group! He's excited to partner with someone who loves to recruit technology talent and wants to continue to develop their business development chops!

What you will do:

\n

\n
• Partner with high-caliber candidates and clients across Fortune 500 companies and high-growth startups
\n
• Drive new client acquisition through thoughtful, consistent outbound business development
\n
• Screen and interview candidates across in-person, virtual, and phone formats
\n
• Match talent to roles using Coda’s ATS, social platforms, and market intelligence tools
\n
• Stay current on hiring trends by attending conferences, events, and industry gatherings
\n
• Bring ideas and energy that help shape the next chapter of the team’s growth

• What we are looking for:
\n
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
\n
• At least 2 years of full-desk, permanent placement recruiting experience of software engineers
\n
• At least 1 year of business development experience
\n
