Job descriptions We are looking for a Host with remarkable hard skills and engaging people skills. The right person for this job should be able to multitask. Our restaurant prides itself in providing excellent service, great food, and a clean restaurant. To help our restaurant provide a pleasurable dining experience the following responsibilities along with attentiveness, patience and a positive attitude are required. Responsibilities of a Host Greeting, seating and escorting guests to their tables with a smile and welcoming comments Open doors for guests arriving and departing Accommodating any special needs of a guest ie; boosters, highchairs, disabilities Process To-Go orders Manage wait lists when the restaurant is busy Providing menu recommendations and additional information such as our specials Up Selling additional products when appropriate Taking orders Communicating order details to the kitchen staff Delivering food and beverages in a timely fashion to curb side pick up guests Cleaning and maintaining the appearance of the restaurant Providing exceptional customer experience Answering the telephone per SOP Host Job Requirements Prior experience as a host is a plus Must showcase teamwork and communications skills Must be able to handle money transactions responsibly Must be able to multitask and act quickly Must be able to work weekends and holidays Must be a team player Must have an active Food Handler's Card Benefits Competitive pay Flexible hours Training Real advancement opportunities #J-18808-Ljbffr IHOP
