Yes County: Onondaga Street Address: 1045 7th North Street City: Liverpool State: NY Zip Code: 13088 Duties Description Manage career fair logistics: attend career fairs, schedule presenters, send out meeting invitations, organize event materials, set up and participate in virtual career fairs, maintain spreadsheets, collect presenter feedback, communicate with stakeholders, track materials inventory, and assist with training sessions for presenters. Serve as a requisitioner. Run various administrative reports. Develop and recruit for the NYSIF intern program. Post internal and external positions. Assess candidate qualifications. Prepare and process appointment paperwork. Oversee various shared mailboxes. Develop and implement unit procedures. Additional duties and projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Application via NY HELPS: Human Resources Specialist Trainee 1: Four years of experience performing and supervising HR activities (staffing services, position classification, compensation, employee benefits, health & safety, counseling, recognition). Human Resources Specialist 1: Six years of experience performing and supervising the same HR activities. Education substitutions: an associate degree may substitute for two years; a bachelor's degree for four years; a master’s degree for five years; a J.D. for six years of specialized experience. Competitive appointment: Eligible on the Civil Service list. Transfer: Current New York State employee with one year of competitive class service.
