We are seeking compassionate, reliable DSPs to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily lives. DSPs help clients build independence, participate in their communities, and achieve personal goals in a safe and respectful environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities (meal prep, hygiene reminders, organization)
- Support community participation (appointments, errands, social activities)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Encourage independence and skill development
- Follow individualized care plans and behavior plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and daily notes
- Communicate clearly with families and agency staff
- Ensure client safety and dignity at all times
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid government-issued ID
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation (preferred)
- Basic communication skills in English (Spanish a plus)
- Ability to follow care plans and agency policies
Preferred Qualifications
- Individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities
- Mental health or behavioral support clients
- CPR / First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in care, education, social work, or healthcare
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
